ABOUT ME

Hello! I’m Zoé, an lllustrator from Hungary, currently based in Rotterdam. I have been illustrating for much longer, but my passion for my current areas of interest started in 2020, when I first began researching ethnography and Hungarian folk traditions. Since then, I often incorporate folkloric elements, nature, and other mythical themes into my illustrations. I'd like to believe my work can also be recognized from its emotional core, its storytelling, the vibrant colors and the explorations of the human body. My favorite medium to work with is digital art but I love experimenting with painting, risograph printing, colored pencils and other media. I have collaborated with the Willem de Kooning Academy, Poetry International and TU Delft Hortus Botanicus (https://www.tudelft.nl/hortus-botanicus/ontdek-de-hortus-botanicus) among others.
